A touch-up after about 5-8 weeks to assure that the desired effect was achieved. Micropigmentation is a process, two or three sessions may be required to achieve desired results. It is not uncommon to lose 20-50% of the color after the first session.
Permanent makeup is an ongoing process, not a one-time procedure. Over time, the pigments can fade, the shape may change, or the color may shift, leading to an undesirable appearance.
The main goal of the follow up touch-up is to address any areas where the pigment didn't fully sink into the skin and finalize overall results.
Permanent makeup is designed to last. With that being said, Jessica does take a hyper-realistic approach. The touch-up adds more density and finalizes the overall look once the first session has fully healed.
